We were tasked with creating an interface on InDesign for a mobile app about food. These apps needed in include three facts: one fun, one scary and one hopeful.
Farm Local is a non-profit organization geared towards providing people with information regarding benefits to shopping local, locations of local produce/farmers markets, and other resources regarding locally-sourced foods. 

This project was to create an app for Farm Local, a business that promotes and informs users about buying locally raised and grown produce. The goal of this project was to produce an interface for a mobile app that features not only three facts about food, but integrates three created animated gifs as well. These animated gifs were to be simple, yet compelling and bring visual interest to the app. The target audience for this app would be the same people who use Pinterest and subscribe to Home and Gardens magazines. This audience is primarily women – although can also be men – who are interested in home-growing produce and buying locally-sourced foods, as well as learning how buying habits can affect local businesses and our global market/ecosystem. 

The main message of the app is to buy local, so the graphics and typefaces are done in a more hand-drawn style. This gives the app a more personal feel as opposed to a clean-cut corporate tone. The light colors also help to give it a spring-like quality to suggest nature and home-grown produce. The tone is personal, as is the message of the app itself. Pinterest, Home and Gardens, and other similar apps would be the competition, however, this app is more specialized as far as local farming information, as well as more personal-feeling.

The deliverables required for this project are:
    - One home/launch page for an app
    -Three pages featuring one scary, one fun, and one hopeful fact relating to the content of the app
    -Three animated gifs
    -One concept map illustrating visuals of the app
    -Creative Brief summarizing the objectives of the project

These deliverables were to be created and revised over the course of approximately one month and finalized by Tuesday, October 29th, 2019. Some key stakeholders include the company Farm Local, as well as their producers and sponsors. 
After taking a step away from the app I decided to return and rework the color schemes and some of the fine details of the layout. The following are my revisions.
